Federal Government Documents
The Gerald R. Sherratt Library is a selective depository of federal government documents. As a participant in the Federal Depository Library Program, the library currently collects approximately 19% of the Federal documents distributed through the Federal Depository Library Program. Items received are searchable through the library catalog and are shelved by Library of Congress number in the main collection.
Gerald R. Sherratt Library provides no-fee access to government information and government information on the Internet, according to guidelines established by the Federal Depository Library Council. This policy is in accordance with depository guidelines found at http://www.access.gpo.gov/su_docs/fdlp/mgt/pseguide.html. Several computers are available in the library for the public to access this information. Users can print and download this electronic government information. Printing charges are set at $.05 per page.
Utah State Government Documents
The Gerald R. Sherratt Library also receives Utah state publications issued by state agencies as the Utah State Publications Depository Library for Iron County. Items received are searchable through the library catalog and are shelved by Library of Congress number in the main collection.
